The PRC 959 is a very fast banknote counter with full 3D format recognition sensors for the counting and value balancing of single or mixed denomination banknote deposits. In single denomination piece count mode, all notes must have the same height and length dimensions as the first note counted. In Value Count mode, mixed denomination notes can simultaneously be put through the machine to obtain a total deposit value with a readout of all separate denomination piece count totals and values. The UV detection checks the banknote paper substrate for authenticity. The 4 MG heads authenticate the magnetic properties of the banknote inks or threads. EMFLUX is a unique magnetic detection system which can utilize the varying degrees of magnetic properties of a banknote, to provide a more sophisticated and secure authentication method compared to normal MG detection. It is also possible to check the banknotes being counted for the correct presence of IR features. The special ST detection system checks for the presence of a correctly coded magnetic thread. The PRC 959 utilises the most modern GRIP and mechA banknote feeder and transport mechanism, which ensure a reliable and accurate count. The PRC 95x series has a rear entrance flap to gain instant access to the inside of the machine to enable easy sensor cleaning or removal of foreign objects (torn notes, paper clips, coins etc ), thus dramatically reducing the requirement for service calls.
